Struggling between 3 & 4 stars, so I guess 3.5 stars?The smut level of this book is off the charts! If I rated the book just on that then it would get 5 stars, but I felt like the sex might've demeaned the story at times. Rowan's family drama was so heartbreaking and I felt a disconnect. Logan kept distracting me from the seriousness of the story, but I can't quite admit to that being a bad thing. Maybe I felt like the age difference and her situation made her too vulnerable to fully support what was happening. Sex doesn't equal love so I like insight into other forms of the connection in a relationship and I didn't really get that here. Did I mention the sex was hot? So if you're into that, which sometimes I am, then knock yourself out!
